Happy New Year - The Beginning {Week One}


To mark the start of 2010 here are a few snaps taken between last night and this morning. Nothing special; just snaps of my girl and her friend. This morning's photo is entitled, "off to Boca Raton" even if she's only going to the local diner. She just has THAT look. Happy New Year!

Welcome to my little spot on the web. In 2008 following the adoption of my daughter I had a pull toward photography and learning how to take better pictures. I bought my first DSLR and now have an arsenal of lenses to play with. It's a favorite hobby and one I enjoy sharing with friends.

I decided to try my hands at a 52 week challenge to document our year but to also show my progress as I (hopefully) learn new skills and continue to improve. I'm an enthusiastic hobbyist looking to continue to develop my skills and style.
